SAJÁT ÁLLOMÁNYUNK - Nevelési elvek

We follow carefully considered principles in raising our puppies to ensure they become balanced and calm dogs.

We can be proud of our dogs because thanks to careful upbringing and the breed’s character  they are family-loving, good watchdogs and are in excellent health.

As responsible breeders, we constantly monitor our dogs’ nutritional needs:

  • We provide our dogs with excellent food adapted to their capacity, age and health state.

  • We adhere to the highest hygiene standards in food preparation and storage.

  • We provide our dogs with fresh and clean water.

We keep our dogs clean and neat in all conditions. If it’s necessary we ask a vet for help for example with plaque removal.

We continuously check:

  • the state of teeth

  • the absence of internal and external parasites on the skin and in feces

  • the length of claws

  • clarity of ears and eyes

  • general health status.

It’s important for us to protect our dogs’ health and to take care of them constantly.

  • When our dogs’ health requires, we consult a veterinarian.

  • All necessary breeding documents are available and comply with regulations.

  • Our dogs are permanently treated against parasites (outer and inner), they are given annual, compulsory vaccination.

  • All of our dogs in our kennel, also those staying there temporarily, have a vaccination book, the certifications of origin are available in each case. When our dogs’ health requires, we consult a veterinarian.

We provide new owners with comprehensive information and assistance regarding the breed’s behavior and care. We transfer puppies to new owners with a microchip, after deworming, and with at least two core vaccinations when they are ten weeks old.

The growth already starts in the womb, that’s why our dogs in pup receive intensive care in housing and nutrition.

  • We follow puppies’ growth day by day and we establish contact so that they can develop mentally too. We interact with them daily.

We examine whether they are developing properly.

The mother dog feeds her puppies at least until they are seven weeks old.

Additionally, the puppies are introduced to solid food from the age of 3-5 weeks so that the mother’s body can regenerate.

  • They are provided with their own, calm and impeccably clean place.

  • The place for whelping and raising is adjusted to the female dog’s size to ensure comfort for both the female and the puppies.

  • The female dog can go outside more times a day, the puppies are allowed to go out to the raising house and the runner from the age of three weeks.

  • The ideal temperature in the whelping room is 19–20°C. The ideal temperature in the whelping box is 25–30°C. The puppies are warmed with an infrared lamp adjusted to one corner of the whelping box or with a warming pillow  until they are three weeks old. The room is heated depending on the weather.

  • The whelping box and its surroundings can be sterilized if necessary; we pay special attention to maximum hygiene. We keep the area free from parasites and insects. The whelping area is well-ventilated and naturally lit.
